Explain a Page

Take a photo of a textbook page and get clear explanations, summaries, and guided questions. The feature is implemented under the “Exams” area in code and combines reading, simplifying, and practicing with AI‑generated support.

How it works

1. Capture or upload a photo of the page
2. The system generates:
   • A simplified, student‑friendly summary (with optional audio playback)
   • Key sections and sub‑sections to focus on
   • Tutorial points and references
   • Practice questions (multiple choice or open‑ended)
3. Review the summary and switch tabs to explore explanations and questions
4. Your session is saved so you can revisit it later

Tools and tabs

• Summary: a simplified version of the page (readable and often with audio)
• Explain: focused cards (main and sub‑sections) explaining the content
• Guide: questions, choices, and “more questions” for deeper practice
• Tutorials: step‑by‑step points to study and review

Tips

• Use clear, well‑lit photos for best OCR results
• Start with the Summary tab to build intuition, then move to Explain/Guide
• Revisit saved sessions to reinforce difficult sections
